ABB bags order worth Rs 506 crore
Power and automation technology provider ABB Ltd informed the market that it has bagged order worth 506 crore from from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) for power related works.
The turnkey project is for the first phase of Bangalore mass rapid transport system or MRTS comprising two main lines covering 42 km of distance, about one-fifth of it underground and serving 41 stations, a company statement said.
The project includes design, supply, install and commissioning of four stations that receive and distribute electricity , each rated 66/33 kilo-volts as well as the auxiliary and traction substations, it added.
