ArcelorMittal sees slow growth

World’s largest steel-maker ArcelorMittal will focus more on emerging markets, to come back to the pre-crisis level, and they expects to reach pre-crises level by 2012 after taking these measures. Steel makers across the globe have begun to restart some of the capacity they idled during the global economic downturn, as order intakes had improved.

ArcelorMittal, expects growth to be slow and progressive, as per its chairman Lakshmi Mittal. The company is considering to take a slightly different view and get more focus on emerging markets like India. One can understand the growth rate by this example that the project which would have finished by 2011-2012, will now finished by 2014.
