Auto Sales Data (Sep09) showing growth in India

September 2009 Data of auto sales is out for almost all major companies and it is giving here one by one.

1. Tata Motor.
Tata Motors sold 52513 vehicles in September 2009 compared to 49647 units in September 2008, which is a growth of 6 percent

2. Maruti Suzuki
Maruti Suzuki sold 71594 units in Sep 2009, which is up by 10.7 percent from 64682 units that was sold in September 2008. For Maruti unlike any other major company the export really helped it surged by 85.4 percent to 11712 units in Sep 2009 from 6318 units in the September 2008.

3. Hero Honda
Hero Honda sold 401290 two-wheelers in Sep 2009, which is 4.2 percent up from 385262 two-wheelers that was sold in Sep 2008.

4. Bajaj Auto
Bajaj Auto informed the market that its sales has rose by 14 percent to 249795 units in September 2009 compared to 217365 units recorded during september 2008.

5. TVS Motor
TVS Motor Company posted sales of 142553 bikes and scooters in the month of Sep 2009 which was slightly higher than 137246 units in September 2008.

6. Hyundai Motor.
Hyundai motor sales grew 24.6 percent to 27803 units in September 2009 from 22311 units in September 2008.

7. Skoda Auto
Skoda Auto India has informed a sales of 53 per cent growth in September 2009 compared to September 2008.

8. Ford India
Ford India reported a sales of 3405 units compared to 2273 which is a 49.80 per cent jump in sales from September 2008 to September 2009. This is mainly due to the growing demand for the Ikon and Fiesta models.

9. Mahindra Tracktors
Mahindra Group had Total tractor sales of 16986 for the month of September 2009 , when compared to 10868 units in September 2008.This is an increase of 56 percent.
