Weekly Review of the Market : 28th Mar to 1st Apr 11

Last Week ( 28th Mar to 1st Apr 11 ) :-

Sensex was up 3.2% (605 points) to close at 19420 levels on a week-on-week basis. The FIIs were net buyers throughout the week and due to their buying spree the market was traded high most of the days of the week. It was in GREEN in 4 out of 5 days.

The S&P CNX Nifty also closed in GREEN by 171 points or 3.1% to close at 5826 levels on a week-on-week basis..

Coming Week ( 2nd Apr to 6th Apr 11 ) :-

Q4 FY11 results will start to come in mid of April 2011. The market may take a breather after 9% rally in the preceding eight trading sessions triggered by heavy buying by foreign funds. In the month of March till date, FII were net buyers to the tune of 8395 crores while domestic funds are net buyers to the tune of 59 crores (provisional data). FIIs have been net buyers since last 5 trading sessions. Nifty can test the psychological level of 6000 during the coming week.
