NSE BSE Muhurat Trading Timings (2011) – Samavat 2068

Indian stock exchanges (NSE and BSE) conduct special Mahurat Trading session of about an hour on the day of Diwali (Lakshmi Puja). This is auspicious stock market trading. The practice of muhurat trading has been performed by the trading community for years and as the Hindu calender starts on this day traders believe it would bring prosperity and wealth for the whole year. The timings of Mahurat Trading has been released by stock exchange and it is as follows :-

Special Trading : 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm (Both NSE/BSE)

Being an auspicious session, all investors whether they are individual, institutional or HNI’s make bids during this period. The new entrants into the stock market choose this session to enter market. Almost every year the stock market’s end up in the Green on this auspicious trading session known as Mahurat Trading.
