Audi India has sold a total of 375 vehicles in April 2011. This is 98% increase in sales in comparison to the like month of April 2010 last year. The company had sold 189 vehicles in the month of April 2010. Audi India is the subsidiary of German luxury car manufacturer Audi.
Audi India has expanded its dealer network and has a number of new models in its showroom like A4, A6, A8, Q5, SUV-Q7, sports car R8 and R8 Spyder, super sports car Audi R8 V10, Audi R8 Spyder, sedan A8 and sports utility vehicle (SUV) Q5 2.0 TDI to attract the Indian rich people. This growth in sales is the result of customer-centric approach of the company. Audi India head Michael Perschke said that the company was planning to launch its sports car A7 and a new variant of luxury sedan A6 in the coming months.
The company also registered a growth in sales for the first quarter of 2011. It reached a sales figure of 1,986 vehicles, a 105% increase from the 967 units it sold during the same period last year.
