Coal India Limited has informed the share market (BSE) that the shares of its recent IPO will list on 4th Nov 2010. The IPO was open between 18th Oct 2010 to 21th Oct 2010. The price band was Rs 225 to Rs 245 and the Issue Price was fixed at the lower level of price band, Rs 245 per equity share. The company had entered into primary market with an Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Rs 15,475.09 making it the largest ever IPO of Indian stock market. Coal India Limited is the largest coal producing company in the world. The company is a public sector undertaking of the Indian Government. It is involved in coal mining and production industry. The company is a Navratna company of Indian Government.
