Goenka Diamond & Jewels Ltd IPO : Opening on 23rd March 2010

Goenka Diamond & Jewels Limited is in the business of cutting and polishing of diamonds and manufacturing and retailing of diamond jewellery. The company is entering into primary market with an Initial Public Offer (IPO) of 10 million equity shares of rs 10 each. Yhe IPO is opening on 23rd March 2010 and the shares will be available for subscription up to 26th March 2010. The premium of the issue will be decided through a 100% Book Building Process. The price band for the issue has not yet been fixed by the company. It will be provided here in bellthebull as soon as it is available.

The proceeds of the IPO will be used to meet the expenses of establishing stores for our G WILD brand, to meet the expenses of establishing stores for our CERES brand (¯CERES Stores), to meet working capital requirements for jewellery business, to meet the expenses of establishing a jewellery manufacturing facility in Mumbai, to meet the expenses of establishing a diamond processing facility in Mumbai and further invest in the equity capital of our Subsidiary.

The equity shares of the company are proposed to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
