Bharti Infratel Initial Public Offering (IPO)

Bharti Infratel Limited had offered its Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 188,900,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each. The IPO was open on 11th December 2012 and was available for subscription upto 14th December 2012. Initial Public Offering (IPO) was based on 100% book building process. Issue price has been fixed at Rs 210 at lover level and Rs 240 at upper level. A special 5% dicount is decided to give to the retail investors. So after discount retail investors have to pay Rs 228 per share at upper level. Bharti Infratel Limited is one of the world’s biggest telecom tower and related infrastructure provider company.The IPO got fully subscribed on the last day of subscription and got 1.30 times subscription.

Initial Public Offering objective to coming in IPO market is to install 4,813 new towers, upgradation and replacement on existing towers, green initiatives at tower sites and general corporate purposes.

Initial Public Offering (IPO) Subscription Bifercation for different catagories :-

Qualified Institutional Buyers : 2.84 times
Non Institutional Investors : 0.29 times
Retail Individual Investors : 0.19 times
Total : 1.30 times

The equity shares offered through the IPO are proposed to be listed in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The Book running lead managers (BRLM) to the issue are Deutsche Equities India Private Limited, Enam Securities Private Limited, HDFC Bank Limited, HSBC Securities & Capital Markets Pvt Ltd, ICICI Securities Limited, J.P. Morgan India Private Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Standard Chartered Securities (India) Limited and UBS Securities India Private Limited.
