JSW Energy

JSW Energy would raise Rs 3,000 crore via the initial public offering (IPO). The funds from the IPO are going to be used for about six projects. The total funding requirement for this is about Rs 14,000 crore. The amount deployed until now is about Rs 6,000 crore. The total money that will be deployed from this IPO is about Rs 2,000 crore. They will also do a debt funding of about Rs 10,000 crore.

In terms of the projects, they already have 560 megawatts of power projects operational and about 3,090 megawatts, which is under construction and is expected to be operational by 2012 and 2014.

Other than that, if you look at the investment pattern,  Sajjan Jindal holds about a 5.5% stake in it, JSW Investments hold about 39% and Sun Investments holds about 19.82% stake.
