Persistent Systems IPO : Listing on 6th April 2010

IPO of Persistent Systems Limited has achieved a new record of subscription which was in the name of DQ Entertainment IPO for this year. The issue of Persistent System has been over subscribed 93.60 times at the end of the final day, it was 86.32 times for DQ Entertainment. The company (Persistent Systems Limited ) has entered the capital market with an initial public offering (IPO) of 5419706 Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each for cash, at a premium to be decided through a 100% Book Building Process . The company informed the market (BSE) that the shares of its recent IPO will list on 6th April 2010. The IPO was open from 17th Mar 2010 to 19th Mar 2010.

Part of the IPO proceeds will be used for construction of two new development centres one in Hinjewadi, Pune, and the other in Nagpur with a capacity to seat 3000 and 1200 employees, respectively, at a cost of Rs 80 crores.

The equity shares of the company are proposed to be listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).
