HDFC Short Term Opportunities Fund : NFO

HDFC Mutual Fund is one of the largest mutual funds and well-established fund house in the country. HDFC Mutual Fund has launched a New Fund Offer (NFO) named as HDFC Short Term Opportunities Fund . This is an open ended income fund. The objective of the fund is to generate regular income through investments in Debt/Money Market Instruments and Government Securities with maturities not exceeding 30 months. The plan would invest 60% to 100% of assets in debt & money market instruments including securitized debt with Low to medium risk profile. 0% to 40% in Government securities with low risk profile.

Presently, two options are available under the scheme viz. Growth and dividend option. Dividend option shall have dividend payout and dividend reinvestment facilities. The dividend reinvestment facility shall be default option under the scheme.

Entry load charge will not be applicable for the scheme. Exit load charge will be 0.25% if the amount sought to be redeemed or switched out is invested up to 1 month from the date of allotment, nil thereafter.

The fund seeks to collect a minimum subscription amount of Rs 1 crore under the scheme during the NFO period. Mr. Anil Bamboli and Mr. Anand Laddha will jointly manage the fund.
