HSBC Mutual Fund has launched a New Fund Offer (NFO) named as HSBC Fixed Term Series 79. This is a close ended income fund for 370 days. The investment objective of the Plans under the Scheme is to generate returns by investing in a portfolio of fi xed income instruments maturing within the time profi le of the Scheme. HSBC Mutual Fund is one of the largest mutual funds and well-established fund house in the country.
The plans shall offer two options – growth and dividend option. Dividend option offers payout facility only.
The plans would invest 60% to 100% of assets in debt & money market instruments including securitized debt. The scheme may invest up to 40% of net assets in government securities.
Entry load charge will not be applicable for the scheme. Exit load too is nill.
Mr. Sanjay Shah and Mr. Kedar Karnik will jointly manage the fund.
