Areva T&D bags order worth Rs 110 crores

Areva T&D India is a leading player in the Power Transmission & Distribution business upto Extra High Voltage levels (765 kV). The company has informed the market (BSE) that it has bagged an order worth Rs 110 crores to set up a 765 KV extra high voltage sub-station. The order is from central transmission utility Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (PGCIL).

This will be one of the critical sub-stations in the eastern Grid and will be delivered in Sasaram, Bihar. With this order, AREVA T&D India has won 8 out of 17 orders for 765 KV substations from PGCIL, a company statement said here.
