Elecon Engineering bags orders worth Rs 88.35 crores

Elecon Engineering Company’s principal activity is to manufacture power transmission and material handling equipment with technology based products. The company has informed the market(BSE) that they received two orders for for designing, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supplying, erection and commissioning of material handling equipments and other equipments and gear boxes. The total value of these orders is Rs 88.35 crores.

The details of these orders is as under :-

The first order company received is from Jindal Steel & Power for supply of 6 MT PA, RMI-IS Packages, 3 stacker reclaimer and other supporting equipments. This order worth Rs Rs 47.80 crores.

The second order company received is from Larsen & Turbo Limited (L&T) for supply of 20 divel planetory gear boxes for coal pulveriser of 3×660 MW power plant of Maha Genco Coradi. This order worth Rs Rs 40.55 crores.
