HCL Infosystems bags order worth Rs 138 crore

HCL Infosystems is an IT Hardware firm, informed the share market (BSE/NSE) that it gets an order worth Rs 138 crore from Jharkhand State Elecricity Board (JSEB) for Re-structured Accelerated Power Development and Reform Program (RAPDRP).

The project involves applying technology to the 30 towns including 66 sub-division offices and 354 other offices of JSEB. The project aims to provide an IT backbone for strengthening of the electricity distribution system infrastructure of JSEB to reduce its AT&C (Aggregate Technical and Commercial) losses and ensure improved customer satiefaction and revenue collection thereby making the utility self sustainable in the long run.
