Suzlon Energy bags 300 MW order from Canada

Suzlon Energy Limited is world’s third largest wind turbine maker. Its subsidiary REpower Systems AG has informed the market that it got an order for the delivery of 150 wind turbines from Canada. These turbines have to be installed in Lac Alfred wind farm project in the Canadian. In two phases, REpower will deliver, install and commission 54 MM, 82 turbines and 96 MM, 92 turbines. The turbines have a total power of 300 megawatt (MW).

This contract marks the largest onshore project to date for the company.
