Suzlon Energy bags order from China

Suzlon Energy Ltd. is world’s fifth largest wind turbine maker. The company informed the market (BSE) that Suzlon Energy (Tianjin) Ltd, is its wholly owned subsidiary company in China. The partner company gets order from a new customer – one of China’s five largest wind power producers for a 48.3 megawatt (MW). The order is for 23 sets of S88 (LTV-50Hz) turbines with a rated power of 2.1 MW. ed company Lipniki wind farm near Opole in south-west Poland, to supply 15 wind turbines of 2.05 MW each, generating a total capacity of 30.75 MW. These wind turbines are to be delivered and commissioned by the year end 2011in Inner Mongolia.
