Suzlon Energy bags order from Poland

Suzlon Energy Ltd. is world’s fifth largest wind turbine maker. The company informed the market (BSE) that REpower Systems AG is its partner company in France in which it has 90.71% holding. The partner company gets order from Poland-based company Lipniki wind farm near Opole in south-west Poland, to supply 15 wind turbines of 2.05 MW each, generating a total capacity of 30.75 MW. These wind turbines are to be delivered and commissioned by the year end 2010.

Mr Per Hornung Pederson , CEO of RE Power System saying Poland is currently one of the fastest growing markets for wind energy and this makes the current order extremely important for RE Power System.
