Andhra Bank Q3 FY11 Results : Net profit jumps 20.16%

Public sector lender Andhra Bank has posted a net profit for the period Q3 (ending Dec 10) of the current fiscal (FY10-11). During the said quarter, net profit rose 20.16% to Rs 330.91 crores in comparison to Rs 275.39 crores of Q3 (ending Dec 09) of previous year (FY09-10). Hyderabad based Andhra Bank is a leading bank of the country. The Bank has 1371 branches in India spread over all states/ union territories including 664 ATMs.

The bank has informed the share market (BSE/NSE) that the total income rose 27.01% to Rs 2320.21 crore in Q3 (ending Dec 2010) of the current fiscal (FY10-11) when compared with the same quarter Q3 (ending Dec 2009) of previous year (FY09-10). Total income was Rs 1826.84 crores in last year’s quarter Q3.
