Public sector lender Andhra Bank has posted a net profit for the period Q4 (ending Mar 11) of the current fiscal (FY10-11). During the said quarter, net profit rose 30.18% to Rs 312.78 crores in comparison to Rs 240.26 crores of Q4 (ending Mar 10) of previous year (FY09-10). Hyderabad based Andhra Bank is a leading bank of the country. The Bank has 1371 branches in India spread over all states/ union territories including 664 ATMs.
The bank has informed the share market (BSE/NSE) that the total income rose 34.66% to Rs 2662.47 crore in Q4 (ending Mar 2011) of the current fiscal (FY10-11) when compared with the same quarter Q4 (ending Mar 2010) of previous year (FY09-10). Total income was Rs 1977.05 crores in last year’s quarter Q4.
