Asian Paints Q3 FY11 Results : Net profit rises 10.95%

India’s one of the best paint maker Asian Paints Limited (APL) has posted a net profit for the period Q3 (ending Dec 10) of the current fiscal (FY10-11). During the said quarter, net profit rose 10.95% to Rs 220.17 crores in comparison to Rs 199.21 crores of Q3 (ending Dec 09) of previous year (FY09-10). Asian Paints Limited is an India-based color and paint company. The Company along with its subsidiaries has operations in 17 countries globally with 23 paint manufacturing facilities servicing consumers in 65 countries through Berger International, SCIB Paints, Apco Coatings and Taubmans.

The company informed the BSE that the total income rose 29.47% to Rs 2119.22 crore in Q3 (ending Dec 2010) of the current fiscal (FY10-11) when compared with the same quarter Q3 (ending Dec 2009) of previous year (FY09-10). Total income was Rs 159.19 crores in last year’s quarter Q3.
