Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) FY11 Result : Net surges 40% (Prov)

State-run Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is the largest engineering and manufacturing enterprise in India in the energy-related/infrastructure sector. The company has informed the share market(BSE/NSE) that they would made a net profit of Rs 6021 crore in the financial year ending March 2011 (FY10-11) as these are the provisional financial results. Last year in FY 09-10 company had a net profit of Rs 4311 crore. This is a jump of 39.66% in profit in a year.

The provisional (FY 10-11) sales stood at Rs 43451 crore as against Rs 34154 crore last year, growth of 27.22%.

Its order inflow was up 2% at Rs 60507 crore versus Rs 59037 crore.
