Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd Q4 FY10 Results : Net down 81%

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, one of the largest public sector oil refining and marketing major, Fortune 500 company, has two major fuel refineries in India. The company has posted a net profit for the period Q4 (ending Mar 2010) of the current fiscal (FY10). During the said quarter, net profit down 80.62% to Rs 703.18 crores recorded in comparison to Rs 3628.02 crores profit of Q4 (ending Mar 2009) of previous year(FY09).

The company informed the market(BSE) that the total sales increased 40.73% to Rs 38158.70 crores in Q4 FY10 when compared with the same quarter Q4 FY09 of previous year. Total sales was Rs 27115.38 crores in last year’s quarter.
