Chambal Fertilisers Q2 FY10 : Net rises 35.84%

Chambal Fertilisers, a part of the K.K. Birla group, has achieved a significant rise in profit and posted a net profit of Rs 64.61 crore in the Q2 of the current fiscal (FY10), ended in Sep 09. The company had recorded a net profit of Rs 47.56 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal (FY09). This is an increase of 35.84% in profit.

The company informed the market that net sales in the present Q2 of current fiscal (FY10) is Rs 963.83 crore and it is a decline of 44.42% as compared to the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal (FY09). Total income too decline by 43.95% to Rs 978.12 crore as compared to Rs 1745.12 crore of corresponding quarter of last fiscal (FY08).

Chambal Fertilisers share’s CMP is Rs 56.15 on 20th Oct 09.

Yup , i also think like wise……. but investing in share market is like gamble for most of the people. Have seen many people losing money in share market and going bankrupt.
