HDFC Bank Q4 FY10 Results : Net up 32.61%

HDFC Bank is one of India’s largest private sector bank. The Bank offers a wide range of personal banking services, NRI Services and finance products including savings and current accounts. The bank has posted a net profit for the period Q4 (ending Mar 2010) of the current fiscal (FY10). During the said quarter, net profit rose 32.61% to Rs 836.6 crores in comparison to the Rs 630.8 crores of Q4 (ending Mar 2010) of previous year(FY09).

The bank informed the market(BSE) that the net interest income increased by 27% to Rs 2351 crores in Q4 FY10 when compared with the same quarter Q4 FY09 of previous year. Net interest was Rs 1852 crores.

The bank board has recommended a dividend of Rs 12 per share for the year ended 31st March 2010 as against Rs 10 the previous year.
