Rolta India Q2 FY11 Results : Net profit rises 26.22%

Rolta India Limited has posted a phenomenal increase in net profit for the period Q2 (ending Sep 2010) of the current fiscal (FY11). During the said quarter, net profit rises 26.22% to Rs 96.62 crore in comparison to the Rs 76.55 crore of Q2 (ending Sep 09) of previous year(FY10). Rolta India Limited (RIL), together with its subsidiaries are primarily engaged in providing computer aided designing (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), geospatial information system (GIS) solutions, eBusiness and other related services. It also provides automated mapping (AM) and facilities management (FM), GIS and photogrammetry services, plant design automation (PDA), and mechanical design automation (MDA) solutions.

The company informed the share market(BSE) that the net sales increased 33.73% to Rs 329.48 crore in quarter ended Sep 2010 when compared with the last years same quarter ended Sep 2009 which was Rs 246.38 crore.
