Bangalore based leading IT consulting and services company Sonata Software Limited has posted a flat increase in standalone net profit for the period Q4 (ending Mar 2011) of the current fiscal (FY11). During the said quarter, net profit rises 2.08% to Rs 16.11 crore in comparison to Rs 15.78 crore of Q4 (ending Mar 2010) of previous year(FY10). Sonata Software Limited is a leading IT consulting and services company. Sonata’s customers are located across the US, Europe, Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region. Its portfolio of services includes IT Consulting, Product Engineering Services, Travel Solutions, Application Development, Application Management, Managed Testing, Business Intelligence, Infrastructure Management and Packaged Applications.
The company informed the share market (BSE/NSE) that the net sales increased 3.30% to Rs 60.71 crore in quarter ended Apr 2011 when compared with the last years same quarter ended Apr 2010 which was Rs 58.77 crore.
The board of directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 1 per share (100% on face value of Rs 1). This along with the interim dividend of Rs.1 per share raised the total dividend for the year FY2011 to Rs 2 per share (200% on face value of Rs 1).
