Timken India Q4 FY11 Results : Net profit surges 99.31%

Bangalore based antifriction bearings manufacturer Timken India Limited has posted a phenomenal increase in net profit for the period Q4 (ending Mar 2011) of the current fiscal (FY11). During the said quarter, net profit rises 99.31% to Rs 22.98 crore in comparison to Rs 11.53 crore of Q4 (ending Mar 2010) of previous year(FY10). Timken India Limited is primarily engaged in manufacture, sale and export for sale of antifriction bearings, components and related parts. The company is also engaged in import and purchase for resale and act as a Sales Agent for the products manufactured by The Timken Company.

The company informed the share market (BSE/NSE) that the net sales increased 72.87% to Rs 165.21 crore in quarter ended Apr 2011 when compared with the last years same quarter ended Apr 2010 which was Rs 95.57 crore.
