Auto Sales is increasing every month and making new heights month after month as there is a significant increase in the salary of Indian Employees by sixth pay commission. For September 2010, the result comes out and all the company have made new record in sales.

Chennai-based TVS Motor Company have reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 1,88,005 units in September2010, 30.78% higher than the same month last year. Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 1,65,418 units in September 2010, up 25.05% in comparison to sales of 1,32,281 units in the same month of 2009.

Two-wheeler maker Suzuki Motorcycle India has reported a 44.99% growth in sales to 22,534 units in September, compared to 15,542 units in the same month last year. The company attributed the growth to the good response for its motorcycle GS150R, scooter Access125 and recently launched bike SlingShot.

Maruti Suzuki India, country`s largest car-maker, reported its highest-ever monthly sales of 1,08,006 units in September 2010, translating into a 29.65% increase in comparison to the same month of 2009. This is the highest ever total monthly sales by the company. The previous highest was 1,04,791 units in August, 2010. Maruti sales crosed the 1 lakh mark fourth time this year.

Hyundai Motor India, is the second largest car manufacturer of India and the largest passenger car exporter. Total sales for September 2010 stood at 51,441 units as against 53,802 units in September 2009 registering a decline of 4.40%. The domestic sales accounted for 31,751 units as against 27,803 units in September 2009 while the exports dipped by 24.3% from 25,999 units in September 2009 to 19,690 units in September 2010.

Hero Honda is India’s largest two wheelers manufacturer. The company has announced its sales data for the month of September 2010. The company reported 8% rise in sales at 433,641 units in September 2010 while company had sold 401,290 units during September last year.

Tata Motors, Total sales (including exports) of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles in September 2010 were 64,668 vehicles, a growth of 23% over 52,513 vehicles sold in September 2009. The company`s domestic sales of Tata commercial and passenger vehicles for September 2010 were 59,611 nos., a 20% growth over 49,650 nos. sold in September last year.
