Bajaj Auto sales jump 66% in July 2010

Bajaj Auto is India’s second largest Auto manufacturer and the company is owned by Bajaj Family. Bajaj Auto Ltd. is engaged in the manufacture of scooters, motorcycles and three-wheeler vehicles and spare parts thereof. Bajaj Auto has plants located at Mumbai-Pune Road, Akurdi, Pune and Bajaj Nagar, Waluj, Aurangabad. The company has announced its sales data for the month of July 2010. The company reported a whopping jump of 66% in motor cycle sales to 2,79,781 units in July, 2010, compared to 1,68,163 units in the same month of the previous year.

India’s well known company, BAL`s exports went up by 56% to 1,06,794 units in July, 2010, from 68,585 units in July, 2009. Total vehicle sales of the company last month stood at 3,18,415 units, compared to 1,92,835 units in the same period a year ago, a growth of 65%.
