IVRCL Infra : The company has bagged a Rs 1125 crore road project from the National Highways Authority of India. The project involves six laning of about 42 km stretch of road on the national highway number 47 and four laning of the 13 km Coimbatore bypass road in Tamil Nadu. Through its two special purpose vehicles (SPVs), the company is executing road projects for a stretch of 100 km between Salem, Kumarapalayam and Chengapalli on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. The scope of the current project work, which falls in the same corridor, includes design, engineering, finance, construction and maintenance. The concession period of the project is 27 years, including construction period of 30 months.

Larsen & Toubro : The company has received two orders worth Rs 2155 crore from National Fertilisers Ltd for converting the feedstock of ammonia plant to natural gas. The project involves changeover of the feedstock of the existing 900 tonnes per day ammonia plant from fuel oil to natural gas. The scope of work includes process licence, engineering and construction of plants. Both projects would be executed concurrently and are expected to be ready for commissioning by January end 2013.
