Bharat Forge Q2 FY10 : Net jumps 2.38 times

Bharat Forge, the flagship company of Kalyani group, has posted a significant rise in net profit for the Q2 of the current fiscal (FY10). During the said quarter, profit rose 2.38 times to Rs 26.83 crore from Rs 11.25 crore in the same quarter previous year(FY09).

The company informed the market that total income decline by 36.78% to Rs 433.55 crore as compared to Rs 685.78 crore of corresponding quarter of last fiscal (FY08).

Bharat Forge is the largest exporter of auto components from India. With manufacturing facilities spread over 10 locations and 6 countries and three in India; three in Germany; one each in Sweden, Scotland, North America and China.

Bharat Forge share’s CMP is Rs 272.05 on 23th Oct 09.
